Sailing south, we recommend a visit to the Ripalta Cave, visible only by sea, with a stop for snorkeling; the old town of Molfetta, a fascinating view from the sea with its historic watchtower; and Giovinazzo, with its beautiful waterfront and small but picturesque harbor, where commercials for major brands like Algida have been filmed. Other places to see to the north include the famous Trani Cathedral and the trabucco, an ancient coastal structure once used for fishing; the entire coast is ideal for swimming.
